Jake Watts brings a design-minded and analytical perspective to real estate, shaped by a lifelong appreciation for architecture, historic homes, and the neighborhoods that give New Orleans its character. Since beginning his real estate career in 2021, he has focused on helping clients understand not only a property’s value, but also its potential.

A graduate of the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning and a focus in Historic Preservation, Jake’s background includes experience as a Residential
Appraisal Analyst at Investar Bank. He also owns a home staging business, giving him a well-
rounded understanding of property value, presentation, design, and how spaces can be
reimagined.

Jake specializes in historic homes and investment properties, with a particular affinity for working with buyers. His knowledge of New Orleans architecture, neighborhoods, and market dynamics allows him to offer insight that extends beyond the transaction, helping clients evaluate opportunities with both their immediate needs and long-term goals in mind.

Known for being knowledgeable, trustworthy, and collaborative, Jake is valued by clients for his honesty, attention to what they are truly looking for, and deep understanding of the city and its distinctive neighborhoods. A resident of Bayou St. John and member of the Faubourg St. John Neighborhood Association, Jake is deeply connected to the community he serves. Outside of real estate, he enjoys antique refurbishment and kayaking, interests that reflect his appreciation for craftsmanship, history, and life in New Orleans.
